1. About CanvaCheat

CanvaCheat (“the Software”, “we”, “us”) is an AI-powered screen-capture and analysis tool for Windows. It captures a screenshot of your screen, sends it to an AI model for analysis, and displays the result as a transparent overlay visible only on your local display.

“CanvaCheat” is a brand name only. The Software does not access, modify, or interact with any third-party platform, application, or learning management system (LMS). It operates entirely as a local overlay on top of whatever is on your screen.

We do not promote, encourage, or endorse academic dishonesty of any kind. The Software is provided as a general-purpose AI screen-analysis tool. How you choose to use it is entirely your own decision and responsibility.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the Software. By using the Software you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Responsibility — Academic Integrity

You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with:

• Your institution's academic integrity and honor code policies
• Any examination rules or proctor instructions you have agreed to
• All applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction

CanvaCheat accepts no liability for any academic, disciplinary, legal, or other consequences resulting from your use of the Software. You assume all risk.

4. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for personal use only.

You may not:

• Distribute, resell, or sublicense the Software
• Reverse-engineer or decompile the Software
• Use the Software to build a competing product
• Attempt to circumvent quota limits, authentication, or billing

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a monthly or one-time basis. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on the applicable billing cycle.

• Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• One-time purchases (Finals Pass, Lifetime) are charged once and are non-refundable after the scan quota has been used.
• Refunds — we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for monthly subscriptions if no scans have been used during that period. All other sales are final. To request a refund, email support@canvacheat.com.

Scan quotas reset on your monthly billing anniversary. Unused scans do not roll over.

6. AI Accuracy Disclaimer

The Software uses AI language models to analyze screenshots. AI can and does make mistakes. We make no warrantythat answers provided by the Software are correct, complete, or suitable for any purpose. Stated accuracy figures (e.g., “~99%”) are estimates based on internal testing and may not reflect performance on your specific content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CANVACHEAT AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF ACADEMIC STANDING, LOSS OF ENROLLMENT, DISCIPLINARY ACTION, OR ANY OTHER ACADEMIC OR PROFESSIONAL CONSEQUENCES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $10.00 USD.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Software ends immediately and any unused quota is forfeited without refund (except as required by applicable law).

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice where reasonably practicable.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not available, in a court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
